Allsup Inc., a leading Social Security consulting firm, is seeking a Social Security Claims Hearing Representative to represent Social Security disability clai! mants at the Hearings level of the claims process.

The company is based in Belleville, Illinois, near St. Louis.
The Social Security Claims Hearing Representative represents Social Security disability claimants at the Hearing and Appeals Council levels of the claims process. The Senior Consultant interviews claimants, completes forms and develops evidence to establish benefit eligibility. The Senior Consultant also prepares some written briefs, prepares claimants for the hearing experience, attends oral hearings, and counsels claimants and client companies on the status of ! benefits. Frequent travel is required. The Social Security Cla! ims Hearing Representative is preferably responsible for Washington, Oregon, and bordering states.
ALJ hearing or ODAR experience required. Disability claims experience with Allsup Inc., DDS, SSA, the LTD division of an insurance carrier, or as an attorney. Excellent written, verbal and human relations skills. Knowledge of the medical and vocational aspects of the Social Security disability determination process recommended. Minimum requirement of College Degree.
