Summary:The Part-Time Lunch Support Person is responsible for assisting serving, and cleaning up of lunch for students at the school. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a flexible part-time job that is rewarding and allows them to work with children.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of food, including setting up and breaking down equipment, measuring, and serving the lunch and breakfast
- Serve food to students, including taking orders, filling trays
- Monitor student behavior in the lunchroom and intervene as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Food Service.
- Entering the student's names into the Point of Service lunch software
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in food service is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
