Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Contract Order Administrator 2 to join its team of qualified and diverse individuals supporting its Defense Sector Advanced Weapons Operating Unit (OU). This is a unique opportunity to build experience, mentoring relationships, and career growth by contributing to the Contracts role from the Sector level. This position is located onsite in Northridge, CA.

The Contract Order Administrator 2 will interface with all levels of senior management and customer counterparts, including program managers, business managers, capture managers, pricing, and proposal teams, to perform the following Contract Order Administration responsibilities:

Enters data related to outgoing proposals and incoming customer contracts for commercial, government, domestic and international customers into applicable business systems using defined computer software. Compiles data and prepares a variety of reports. Validates data with applicable customer purchase documents and internal policies, procedures and business system requirements for completeness and accuracy. Investigates questionable data and recommends actions to resolve discrepancies. Notifies appropriate departments of any new or updated data. Maintains audit trails. Uses defined business software to produce delivery, packaging, and invoicing documents for commercial, government, domestic and international shipments. Performs a variety of activities in support of the functional areas of Business Management in furtherance of their goals and initiatives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Entry of Receiving Reports (DD250’s) into Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE)

  • Data entry into Northrop Grumman’s Contract Management System

  • Track contract closeout

  • Data entry into Costpoint

  • Non-Disclosure Agreement drafting/negotiating

Basic Qualifications:

  • This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 2 years of Contract Order Administration or related experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Data Entry experience

  • Desire to learn and grown into a Contracts Administrator position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Legal/Paralegal experience



Salary Range: $39,900 USD - $66,500 USD


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
