Oversee the daily activities of warehouse to ensure safe and efficient storage and retrieval of district supplies.
Essential Functions
Troubleshoot and assist in the repair of palletizer.
Assist in efficient running of the shift.
Assure product being shipped meets customer specifications.
Work to create a safe and efficient work environment.
Assure product ships on a timely basis per schedule.
Oversee warehouse employees.
Fill in for operators as needed.
Assist plant management in projects as assigned.
Ensure warehouse meets and employees follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
Create and pick loads as required.
Work in accordance with Glanbia core values.
Additional Functions
Regular and timely attendance required.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requires prior experience and knowledge of large volume warehouse operations
Knowledge of or ability to learn SAP
Desire to grow with the comp! any
Positive attitude toward working at Glanbia
Willingness to attend training classes as needed
Excellent people and leadership skills
Willingness to work day or night shifts as needed
Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment
Excellent record required in safety, attendance, and punctuality
Ability to stand and walk the entire shift if needed
Ability to read and write instructions in English
Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals
Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required
