Director, Physician Enterprise Services - Compensation and Valuation The candidate will develop local, regional and national reputation for their expertise in this area of advanced Physician Compensation and physician services valuation specialization through speaking engagements, articles, etc., and will be responsible for generati! ng new revenue. Responsible for direct preparation of proposals, budgets, project work plans and project resources, revising as necessary. Control project scope and budget on medium to larger-sized projects, with relatively minimum Managing Director required participation. Develop/refine intellectual property concepts and potential market opportunities. Identify and discuss project scope problems with client before they become budget problems. Follow-up on receivables collections, as requested. Develop strong ongoing relations with client managers, directors, and vice presidents. Interact with senior client management on a conceptual and operational level. Address project direction and quality issues with client management. Originate new client leads, develop follow-on potential at existing clients and close follow-on work at some clients. Structure project analyses and complete portions, as necessary. Define creative approaches to analyses. Identify new tools and technique! s to be applied. Ensure accurate application of business techn! iques. Responsible for extensive understanding and application of financial modeling and advanced benchmarking for plan design and/or valuation assessments, as well as those projects requiring determination of commercial reasonableness.
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree. A Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or a closely related field is highly preferred. Comparable professional degree like CPA, J.D., etc., will be considered. Must have 10+ years of prior healthcare consulting experience, including prior focus upon private practice, health system-employed, academically-based and related physician organizations. Should have significant knowledge of physician-hospital strategic relationships and related healthcare market trends. Should preferably also have related experience in physician organization strategy development and physician practice operations improvement. Strong knowledge of and application of healthcare res! earch resources is required. Understanding of pertinent federal regulatory and valuation principles is desired.
