SUMMARY
Handles Courtesy Vehicle claim files in accordance with Department of Insurance regulations and company procedures. Day to day handling would include claim uploading/reporting assistance for the retailers/dealers, coverage verification and first party claim/coverage tender to the customer's insurance and first- and third-party new loss reporting to our carrier partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following:- Assist dealers/retailers in getting new losses reported through the Courtesy Vehicle Portal.
- Verify that loaner vehicles were active in the portal and being used as part of the program when the loss occurred.
- Secure required documents from retailer/dealer (rental agreement, work order, estimate/photos, etc.).
- Report new loss to customers’ own auto insurance for purposes of them providing primary coverage for loss.
- Report new loss to our carrier partners for handling of first- and third-party exposures.
- For applicable programs, handle first party exposure directly if/when the customer's own insurance denies coverage in whole or in part.
- The chosen candidate must be customer service oriented, organized, and proactive in their claim handling.
