The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Staff Research Associate II to join the DMH+UCLA Public Mental Health Partnership (PMHP). You will work under the project Principal Investigator to coordinate and collaborate with our community-based partners to help improve quality of care in the public mental health system. Primary duties include: * Scheduling, organizing, assisting with and/or leading meetings, activities, and events involving collaboration between our PMHP team and community mental health partners * Learning about and communicating with a variety of mental health providers and administrators working across LA County * Develop tools and resources to address training needs and infrastructure for mental health providers * Data management including areas such as processing, cleaning, and tracking of data * Assist with development of reports, progress tracking, and presentations * General clerical duties Pay range: $27.09 - $43.58
* Ability to communicate accurately and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with a broad array of internal and external stakeholders (Required) * Demonstrated experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Required) * Clear and concise writing skills (Required) * Organized and detail oriented (Required) * Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, public health, social work, or health-related field (Highly preferred) * Demonstrated research and analytic skills; experience in data management is a plus (Preferred) * Interest in public mental health and vulnerable populations (Preferred) * Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of research methods, including Privacy and Confidentiality (Preferred)
