POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for marketing Farm Credit S! ervices of America Country Home Loan products to prospects and customers, and building strong working relationships with customers within Farm Credit Services of America's marketplace. The incumbent will develop an in-depth understanding of each customer's and prospect's current and future needs and financial position, and provide innovative and workable product alternatives. Majority of incumbentâs time will be spent selling and marketing loan products and services to customers, prospects, and influencers. Works in a team environment to accomplish residential lending goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Actively market Country Home Loan programs and products and is responsible for originating a volume of loans for the Association's portfolio. Responsible for meeting new volu! me and portfolio growth goals.
2. Conduct sales calls! to influencers, prospects and customers; majority of sales and marketing calls typically occurs out of the office. Routinely updates and maintains prospect/customer marketing and call planning information on customer contact software. Develop prospect and influencer lists and marketing plans.
3. Take leadership role in activity supporting Country Home Loan program and in assigned marketplaces. Follow-up on referrals from marketplace teammates and educate teammates on Country Home Loan products.
4. Gather and input an appropriate amount of financial information to support the credit decision process for loans meeting defined risk parameters; or gathers financial data, prepares and sends loan package to Country Home Loan office in Omaha for credit analysis and decision.
5. Coordinate loan package approval and credit decision with Country Home Loan underwriters.
6. Obtain loan pricing and communicates loan decision to customer.
7. ! Assist Country Home Loan Team in development of innovative credit packages and product offerings, processes, and software to meet customer needs.
8. Assist with loan servicing actions on existing mortgage loans.
9. Engage in marketing and promotional activities throughout the entire marketplace to support sales goals. Maintain professional relationships with appropriate influencer groups, residential mortgage professionals, and organizations.
10. Develop and maintain a significant "professional presence" throughout the local business community contributing to the Farm Credit Services of America image as the leading rural residential financing institution.
11. Participate actively as member of Country Home Loan Team, including sales training and development activities.
12. Conduct on-site construction inspections and verifications as needed.
Customer Portfolio
Level 21: Consistent annual production of $5 t! o $10 million; service a portfolio of up to 150 accounts
Le! vel 22: Consistent annual production of $10 to $15 million; service a portfolio of 150 to 300 accounts
Level 23: Consistent annual production in excess of $15 million; service a portfolio in excess of 300 accounts and/or a portfolio in excess of $55 million.
Additional functions of the position may include:

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelors degree in real estate, business, finance, or economics.
Registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS), or the ability to do so within 30 days of employment.
Level 21: A minimum of zero to five years of sales, lending and credit analysis experience with Farm Credit Services of America or mortgage lending experience with related real estate lending experience required.
Level 22: A minimum of five to seven years of sales, lend! ing and credit analysis experience with Farm Credit Services of America or mortgage lending experience with related real estate lending experience required.
Level 23: A minimum of eight years of sales, lending, and credit analysis experience with Farm Credit Services of America or mortgage lending experience with related real estate lending experience required.

- Knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC, FHA, VA, Rural Development and portfolio loan regulations, policies, and guidelines.
- Maintains a current awareness of social and economic developments and production technology impacting rural America's economy.
- Proficient in Windows environment using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer.
- Demonstrated teambuilding attitude and skills.

Extensive contact with retail office staff, customers and prospects. Regular contact with Omaha staff, influencer group professionals (real estate agents, accountants, appraisers and attorneys), and other mortgage lending institutions.
